Blue Bandage Dress

Hello dear friends!
Talking about bandage skirt in my previous post, now here is a bandage dress I got from Glam Zone. I actually wore it last night in Miss Dagupan 2011 pageant. I was there to represent one of the pageant sponsors. It feels great to watch some of my friends and other beautiful ladies compete for the crown.
I went on stage to award a sash and a gift certificate. Here is a photo.
The pretty woman beside is Ms. Rosalyn Suratos to whom I awarded Ms. Glam Zone and who also bagged the Miss Dagupan First Runner Up title. On the other hand, the deserving lady who brought home the Miss Dagupan 2011 crown is no other than my friend Ms. Denielle Joie Magno. If you have been reading my blog since June of this year, you surely have seen some of our photos, hence, here's one from last night.
From left to right that's Me, Denielle's Aunt, Denielle herself, and Tita Rosbelle (Denj' Mom)
I went with my boyfriend in the said event and we wore the same shade of color blue. It was a cold December night so I put on my favorite jacket. But for you to see my dress's details just scroll down. Here's a photo of us. It's a stolen shot actually by a good friend of mine Ms. Jade Tagulao.

Don't you just love it?
Again dear friends you can also check this look on "CHICTOPIA" and of course to my favorite fashion website "LOOKBOOK.NU". Just click those links and you'll be directed to my look. I entitled it "Wish You Were Here," why? Because that song by Incubus has been in my head that day. Haha!
And guys if you have Twitter or Instagram feel free to follow me @Yvel06.
Thank you so much for your support and please do stay in touch!

P.S. I look like Morticia Adams in the last photo <3

Pink Bandage Skirt

Hello lovelies!
Today I want to share with you guys my look wearing bandage skirt. It's been around for some months already I know, but the cute thing is it comes with lovely colors too. Sure you've seen a lot of looks already, some may be better than mine, but just take this time and tell me what can you say! :)
First look is my pink bandage skirt with a fun, colorful top.

Clothes are of course from Glam Zone and my shoes are from Mendrez. So before I talk about my shoes let me tell you a little something bout my bandage skirt. At first I was reluctant to wear it because I'm afraid I might look fat. But I gave it a try of course, and I look fantastic, I FEEL fantastic! I am confident wearing it actually. It fits me right and I don't have to worry about my figure, about looking chubby and all that...if you know what I mean ladies. ^^
Now I don't know if my shoes suit well or is it plain boring. I love it though, it's comfortable to wear and pretty simple. What can you say?

The photos in this post were shot by my friend Ladon. Isn't she great?
Okay so the top looks awesome don't you think? The splash of colors to its print does the magic.
Dear friends you can also check this look on "CHICTOPIA" and of course to my favorite fashion website "LOOKBOOK.NU". Just click those links and you'll be directed to my look, I entitled it "PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness." I know it's not the month of October, but we must always be aware no matter what. Thank you so much for your time!  :)

The Supposed-To-Be-11.11.11-Post!

Hello beautiful bloggers!
Alright so this was supposed to be the 11.11.11 blog post, sadly I was late by 3 hours. It's already 3:20 am 11-12-11 in my country. Haha! So how's your eleventh day of the eleventh month -of the two thousand eleventh year had been? :D
Today I am sharing with you guys my favorite pastime. I sure do have many, but this one's my favorite. It's called "doodling!" We're all familiar to this, don't you agree? We do this ever since we were taught how to work with pen and paper, you did this when you were in 2nd grade, 6th grade, junior high school, even college -anywhere anytime!
Sorry I'm just a frustrated artist! I'm a sucker for artworks, paintings and sculptures in particular. I remember, once, I've been to this extraordinary restaurant in Baguio, City where they don't only serve good meals but also displayed art works made by the native artists. It almost looked like an art gallery, it's what attracts people. I don't know if it's still there but if I had the chance I would go back to take photos and share it with you too. The photos below are some of my doodles. Hope you liked it though!

That's me and my boyfriend. Haha!

And on the other hand......

Literally showed you my hand! LOL. Hey remember the oratical piece by John P. Delaney? My favorite phrase was "I’m proud of my dirty hands. Yes, they are dirty. .......I got them that way by working with them, and I’m proud of the work and the dirt." After assembling and disassembling some computer hardwares, that's what I got. Proud of it! And oh a blogger actually told me I'm such a geek (in a positive way of course), haha! Well I had to do this stuff as part of my internship 'cause I study it. But if given another chance I'd take up journalism and be a polemical journalist someday than a tech geek. Just sharing!
This gadget here is for cloning hard drives,  saved me from opening the cpu and connecting stuff manually!
#me #office #elevator #lol :)
Have a wonderful day ahead lovelies! I better sleep now, I still have a shoot later today.
Thank you so much for the comments, keep in touch :)

The Intern

Hello lovelies!
Today I'm going to share with you guys photos from my ongoing internship in a shipping company. I hope to be working in this company in the future too. Oh by the way, there will be a job fair at Glorietta Mall on November 17-18, 2011. TSM will be participating the said event to accept curriculum vitae and conduct interviews. I will be there on the first day too. :)
Okay so since I'm taking up Information Technology, I am tied dealing with computer hardware and software. Like these babies I get to set up everyday.

And here I am in my cubicle workstation..

Unlike the employees, of course I am free to do what I want whenever I finished the tasks given to me. And what I do during spare time is so obvious. Haha! As to how I dress in the office I'll show you some details with the photos below.
I love the details of this skirt. It gives the illusion of scales (as if I'm a mermaid. Haha.) I paired this with an abstract black and white top. (showed in the photo above)

On my first day I wore this pair of black pants with a striped long-sleeved gray and black polo. (showed in the fourth photo above)
My office shoes? I bought it at Mendrez's. My Mom chose the design for me. It looks good and comfortable to wear. I just get uneasy with it's clacking sounds when I'm walking -attract everyone's attention. Haha.
I'll add some whole body photos wearing these office outfits soon to give you a clear view. Thank you for everyone's support. I love you guys and I appreciate every comment!

Wearelse Boutique Fashion Show

Hello to all my lovely readers! :)
I am so excited to share with you guys set of photos from my first ramp modeling gig. The fashion show was hosted by the Wearelse Boutique, owned and managed by Ms. Mima Fernandez, celebrating it's 25th year! I was with other fashionable and more experienced male and female models in Dagupan and it's been my honor to be with them. I worked with not only the friendliest and gorgeous models but also the best talents in town; our choreographer and stylist Mr. Cj Cuison, the Juxtapose family -Mr. Noah Asianas, Mr. Joezer Carandang, Ms. Luffel Cornista, hair and make-up by Mrs. Apple Llamas(check out their website All eyes on you") and Faces Portraits headed by Mr. Jesson Veedor.
